As with everything, it is about finding the balance. It is in this equilibrium that all body systems function properly. Acute disturbances, such as colds, fevers or skin eruptions are considered to be a form of ‘healing crisis’ in which the body is eliminating toxins as a result of unhealthy living. Suppressing these symptoms only drives the toxins deeper into the body.
