Honey & Soy Pork Belly Slices


The simplest and most moreish nibble. Simply reheat in the oven or serve at room temperature.

Serves 10
1kg (2lb 3oz) pork belly * 2 tbsp sesame oil * 125ml (4 floz) honey * 2 tbsp soy sauce * cocktail sticks

Pre-heat the oven to 220°C/425°F/Gas 7. Cut the pork belly into slices and pierce onto two cocktail sticks. Put into a large, shallow roasting tin. Whisk together the oil, honey and soy sauce pouring over the pork belly. Use clean hands, to mix everything together. Roast for 20 minutes, giving them a shake halfway through.
