Multi-vitamin & Iron
If you smoke, drink, are exercising or detoxing, then you should take a multi-vitamin, as all the above use up massive amounts of nutrients.
Co-enzyme Q10 100mg
Antioxidant and Energy
This is a supplement which can help keep your skin looking young, because it is an anti-oxidant. It is present in every cell of the body and involved in the making of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate), which helps generate energy transfer throughout the body.
Milk Thistle 200mg
Milk Thistle is shown to make the liver less permeable to toxins preventing damage from occurring. Perfect for when detoxing and also when having had too much to drink. Take one dose twice in the day if you have had alcohol the night before.
Cod Liver Oil 1000mg
Heart & Mind
Cod liver oil has omega-3, which is an essential fatty acid not produced by the body. It has anti-inflammatory properties, which offers a protective element from heart disease. It is also thought to lower anxiety and to help improve your memory.
Evidence suggests that glucosamine helps the pain of athritis because it helps repair joint structure. Not to be taken if on warfarin or if you have blood sugar problems.
Conjugated Linoleic Acid 1000mg
The thought is that this fatty acid reduces the synthesis and storage of fat cells. Swedish research shows that patients taking CLA for 14 weeks lost 3.4% of their body fat even though they did not change their diet.
Evening Primrose Oil 1000mg
PMS & Hormonal Imbalance
The GLA (Gamma Linoleic Acid) in this oil is converted into prostaglandins, which help regulate hormones in the pituitary gland, so will help alleviate PMS.
